DRY ICE PACKSTechni-ICE ™ Dry Ice Packs last longer than any other ice packs we’ve tried. We ship frozen food with the goal of keeping it frozen 3 days and cold into the forth day. We use 1 1/2 inch thick sided styrofoam coolers and to ship about 4-8 pounds of frozen food, we use 2 sheets (actually 4 half sheets, sometimes 3 half-sheets when it’s not hot outside). In larger coolers with 10-15 pounds of frozen food, we use 3 sheets. We have used 5-6 sheets to keep frozen food cold up to 6 days, and another sheet or two to keep it cold 7 to 8 days. Combining Techni-ICE with dry ice yields the longest-lasting result: 4 or 5 sheets of Techni-ICE with 5 pounds of dry ice lasts 6-7 days.A rule of thumb to start with is one sheet for every 8 quarts (2 gallons) of cooler space, however… The length of time any ice pack will last will depend on several things: your cooler or container type, how much Techni-ICE you use, how long you freeze the Techni-ICE (24 hour minimum), the size of what you’re trying to keep cold, and the outside temperature… even how much air-space is in your container. Make sure to hydrate the Techni-ICE to about 1 1/4 inches thick. You will have to experiment to find what is the least amount of Techni-ICE you can use for what you’re trying to do.Techni-ICE ™ is a temperature control solution. Typically, Standard (Std) Techni-ICE ™ is for the transporting of fresh, perishable and heat sensitive products, such as: meat, seafood, vegetables, prepared foods, chocolate, candy, cookies, cake, medicine, flowers, cosmetics, breastmilk, and more. Heavy Duty Reusable is for applications where you need to use. It is often ideal for courier transporting of medicine and medical samples, or perishables such as ice cream and frozen food. Heavy Duty Reusable (HDR) and Standard (Std) Techni-ICE are the same inside, and cooling power is the same. The difference is in the external construction: The HDR has stronger plastic, with 2 layers of fabric and 2 layers of plastic. If you attend Chamber of Commerce meetings, network with others, give and receive referrals and try to be helpful to people who may or may not be able to directly put money in your pocket, you are engaging in social networking in the offline world.Social media sites simply give you the opportunity to take those same human activities that you’ve already discovered are good business, to the online world.In my opinion, the very best book on social networking was written in 1936. It’s a little book you’ve probably already read. It is called “How to Win Friends and Influence People” by Dale Carnegie. You can see, then, why the kinds of activities Dale Carnegie wrote about decades ago are smarter business practices than just blasting out sales pitches to the masses. Social networking gives you the opportunity to make friends, build trust and credibility to millions of people online – as long as your actions are not overtly self serving and calculated. The people who succeed in online social networking are the same people who succeed in networking at a Chamber of Commerce meeting. They don’t go to sell (at first), they go to meet people, exchange ideas, help other people out, give referrals, etc.Does it pay off for them? Of course it does or smart business people wouldn’t continue to spend hundreds of dollars each year for membership fees.By focusing first on building relationships and trust, the sales process becomes a whole lot easier.
